Financial Manager

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensuring compliance with tax rules and local statutory rules and calendars,
• Preparing and signing the Financial Statements for Group consolidation purposes and reporting them on time,
• Signing the related Letter of Representation (co-signature with operational managers),
• Maintaining a proper financial internal control environment,
• Managing external and internal audits,
• Strengthen and managing the accounting and tax team,
• Ensuring the homogeneous implementation of Group financial & accounting standards,
• Legal entity cash management, including cash monitoring and financing,
• Cooperating closely with all business units and the Management Board,
• All legal aspects of Guatemala operations
• Ad-hoc projects impacting Legal Entity

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 10 years professional experience in Finance, of which minimum 5 years in a managerial position,
• Extensive experience in a similar position in Brazil,
• Exposure to international environment,
• Very good knowledge of Guatemala tax rules,
• Audit experience in a big 4 company a big asset,
• Fluent English, written and spoken as a must. Spanish as desirable,
• Understanding of legal aspects of an organization.
• Qualified Guatemala accountant (CPA certificated).
