The positions evaluates existing processes and to configure manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process. The main focus of the process engineer’s work is on maintaining reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers. The process engineer is a part of a team driven to identify, develop and deliver innovative solutions, driven to constantly improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards. Has responsabilities for r&d and quality
R&d responsibilities
• Preparation of samples for study
• Performing required testing (shrinkage, strength)
• Collect, record and transcribe data
• Report results to r&d department
Quality responsibilities
• Perform series of quality testing on raw materials
• Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing systems that optimize all phases of the production process; be actively involved in the development and implementation of the long-term improvement programs
• Provide technical inputs for incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action
