Country Business Manager Guatemala

Responsibilities:

• Develop a strategic plan consistent with the vision and core business objectives, establishing plans to ensure growth in revenue, profits, market share, and cash flow.
• Develop and ensure effective implementation of strategic and tactical plans across marketing, sales and trade marketing, monitoring performance of the implementation. Oversee on going revision of the objectives and plans of the multi-functional team in order to obtain the expected results to ensure growth and profitability for the short, medium and long term.
• Manage and control the budgets of the country to ensure financial performance. Lead efforts to monitor and control for costs related to sales discounts, a&c, overheads, capex, review the analysis of activities, costs, operations and projection data for assessing progress in relation to the goals and objectives.
• Lead multi-functional team in order to accomplish the business plan. In addition to sales and marketing, work across supply chain, accounting, finance, hr, and it to meet the needs of the business and the commercial team.
• Develop the talent of the organization by creating a coaching culture. Support the establishment of a continuous plan covering training and development, review of achievements, coaching, work plan and career planning.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams making high-impact decisions for the company such as, but not limited to, consensus, innovation, compensation and incentives for sales force, new categories, policy revisions, etc.
• Represent the company in country with government authorities, lawyers and any other external entity.

Education:

• Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance or a related discipline with extensive knowledge of management.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in the consumer products industry in commercial positions of multi-national companies.
• Fluent spanish and english (written and oral).
• Ability to use traditional office software tools.
