Position purpose: the human resources manager at country level is responsible for the daily oversight, management and compliance requirements for the company from a human resources and payroll perspective for country (ies) they are responsible for. Functionally, the hr manager works hand in hand with the country head, center director, svp hr, payroll director, recruitment director, operations and other managers to insure that c3 is an employer of choice in the communities we do business in. The hr manager ensures that recruitment goals are met and that any risk associated with employment related decisions is managed effectively. The hr manager supports operational objectives by achievement of program specific recruitment and center retention goals. The human resources manager’s role is that of a coach to the management team while holding his/her team accountable to ensure that department’s goals are met. The hr manager also has client-facing interaction.
1. Achieve recruitment goals by effectively managing a team who will develop a pool of qualified candidates to anticipate position openings.
2. Provide coaching and support to supervisors to ensure agents are managed in a way that ensures client deliverables are met and c3 standards are adhered to.
3. Be a regular presence on the production floor and actively interact with supervisors and associates to ensure that they are engaged in productive work and systems are functioning properly.
4. Ensure that underperforming associates, supervisors and managers meet client expectations through the creation and implementation of written action plans.
5. Create local programs that attract, retain and engage potential candidates.
6. Be the conscience for communication within the center making sure that it flows internally upward and downward.
7. Ensure that local payroll is processed effectively and that any and all payroll related issues are addressed in a timely and compliant manner.
8. Manage compliance and risk management process to ensure company remains in compliance with guatemalan labor code and other employee impacting legislation. Areas include all employment related policies, practices, and related decisions from recruitment to any post-employment matters.
9. Suggest, modify and manage local salary administration process ensuring maximum operational results from compensation programs.
10. Manager local hr related benefit providers and take lead in areas of plan design, assessment and implementation of benefit programs. The hr manager manages programs balancing company resources with competitive recruitment and retention strategies
11. Work with director of talent acquisition to create and executive recruitment strategies and plan to achieve all hiring targets.

1. Five to ten years progressively responsible human resources management roles preferably in a call center environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills and local experience in disciplines of recruitment, employee relations, benefits, payroll administration and compensation.
