Overview:
The Facilities Engineer shall be a source of rapid, accurate, informative, and hands-on information about the installation of Power distribution and battery backup, Central Office Engineering and Installation Standards, Cabling systems and materials, HVAC, Generator, Grounding, efficient Space Utilization, and Facility infrastructure consisting of Cable tray, Rack, Auxiliary support iron work, earthquake bracing; while being cooperative and supportive of fellow employees
Roles & Responsibilities:
Supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities.
? Coordinate site visits and inspections ? (Monthly inspections, safety inspections)
? Assists more senior Technicians in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks.
Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc .
Respond to facility alarms, mechanical/electrical systems failures, and building occupant complaints.
? Operate facilities’ electrical/mechanical equipment and building management system
? Prepare and coordinate with vendors, all the Maintenance activities defined in the Playbook file, for all equipment or sites in the portafolio.
Coordinate the Quaterly End to End Test for Critical Sites
Upgrade Monthly for Critical Sites the Incident and Capacity Plan Reports.
Maintains good facility relations through prompt and courteous response to facility requests within the guidelines set forth by JLL and Client
Maintains supply inventory.
Maintains BOM budget control in coordination with the FM and Service Desk.
Complete Work Orders as directed and within SLA requirements in the internal Database
Supports Service Desk operation.
Upgrade Monthly the Ecogovernance and Internal Database (Power, consumption, Job Plans, upload/remove Equipments)
Read and comprehend electrical, mechanical blueprints.
Coordinate that all work is completed in a safe and professional manner.
Interact with contractors and customers, as required.
Become familiar with and apply building, safety and industry codes and regulations.
Identify energy savings opportunities at facilities including system and operational changes that can decrease the property?s energy consumption.
Maintain and complete documentation of all building systems and equipments.
Subject to call 24 hours per day and required to work in all weather conditions
