Responsibilities:
• Work with business analysts, software developers and technical managers to develop functional test plans
• Execute manual test plans/cases and provide quality analysis for multiple systems
• Write automated test scripts for unit-level black-box testing
• Ensure that product release bugs and changes are documented, tracked, managed, and resolved
• Perform functional, integration, performance, and regression testing
• Identify defects and product enhancements
• Collect, analyze and report quality metrics to management

Skills:
• Solid experience in functional, integration, regression and UI testing.
• Ability to create easy to use test plans and cases that allows testers to understand and execute.
• Ability to write automated test scripts for testing.
• Experience with source code management systems and concepts, TFS and Visual Source Safe preferred.
• Experience working with bug/request tracking systems (TFS preferred).
• Ability to document tests and steps to reproduce, as well as to repeat tests efficiently.
• Good organizational and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and document technical concepts, procedures, and processes

Knowledge:
• Require experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft desktop and server platforms
• Solid working knowledge of SQL, HTML and XML.
• SFDC and TFS experience preferred
• Good understanding of quality assurance testing methodology relative to the software development lifecycle and release management.
• Understanding of Web technologies
• Background in analyzing design requirements and specifications, developing, implementing, executing and automating test plans and scripts.

Education
• Technical degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of work experience as a QA engineer including experience testing Web based applications.
