As Server Engineer you will participate in and provide leadership for all aspects of projects and programs associated with Server security. The role will require you to work closely with auditing teams will include working with third party auditors and customers. This will be responsible for documentation gathering and remediation of all aspects of a data and voice Server.

Seeking applicants with the following hands on experience and knowledge:
• Have a good understanding of the latest PCI Server security requirements, and have some prior experience with security artifact collecting.
• PCI DMSS 3.2 Knowledge
• Have experience with reviewing computer architectures against corporate security standards, and then identifying required remediation tasks.
• Complete Monthly and quarterly reporting for the various domains AV reports, super user and security group access
• Experience with McAfee EPO
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM
• Experience with Microsoft WSUS
• Review WSUS and SCCM reports for patch compliance.
• Review of monthly Vulnerabilities and coordinating and performing remediation
• Quarterly Test restores on various backup systems.
• Daily Backup tape rotation and documentation
• Active directory and group policy experience
• Microsoft Server 2008/2012
• Microsoft ISA-TMG Proxy
• McAfee Proxy Management
• Experience with Windows Event Logging
• Familiar with Windows Event Logging and Syslog Server
• Experience with reporting tools such as Hyena, Dumpsec and PowerShell is a plus

Foundational skills and abilities:

• Good knowledge of data center design and security
• Reliably meet deliverable timelines, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to work independently.
• Be familiar with corporate productivity tools, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Email, IM, etc.
• Ability to propose, discuss and evaluate potential solutions, workarounds and resolutions
• Ability to proactively identify service improvements
• Ability to apply logical thinking to resolving complex support requests and system faults
• Ability to prioritize activities in line to agreed deadlines
• Ability to provide advice and guidance and implement working solutions

• Ability to build management and end user confidence of systems through simple explanation and demonstration

• High level technical skills to work with the wide-ranging technical infrastructures
• High level of discipline concerning security of data and Server access
• Awareness of the ITIL Service Management framework and related processes
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Good verbal and written communication (english)
