General Accountant

Assist and support the responsible financial managers in designing, implementing and operating the accounting system, e.g. • Registering/booking of all incoming invoices; • Keeping up filing system for all types of invoices, reimbursement forms, statistics; • Keeping track of training measure, organising invoices and payments related to training events; • Preparation, control and follow up of invoices to be authorized/ signed by the director; Effect payments orders, purchase orders, follow up of reminders, check of monthly financial reports (IB), e.g. • Preparing purchase orders for all services and equipment; • Preparing payment orders for invoices; • Taking action if invoices were incorrectly filled in or paid out (recourse of funds); Assist the financial managers in preparing payment requests of projects to be further processed by the Paying Authority, e.g. • Preparing project payment requests and forwarding to PA; Update of the project budget-and-liquidity table (filling in every payment to projects, monitoring the duration of the payment request being processed by the PA); Profile: • English level 50%-60% • Educational Degree in Accounting (Perito Contador) • Age: older than 18 years old • High School Diploma • No Criminal /Police records • Experience: > 6 month minimum • Relevant work experience, about Accounts Payable & Receivable • Preferably knowledge in SAP Additional duties: • Employee’s file • Management of salaries and commissions • Management of discounts ISR (income tax), IGSS (social security) and advance payments • Elaboration of DRAFT-PAYROLL for approval • DEFINITIVE PAYROLL. • Elaboration of semi-monthly salaries receipts • Printing checks or coordination for payment by transference • Verification of receipts signed by the employees • Generation, presentation and management of IGSS payroll • Reports of bonds, commissions, discounts • Management of employees vacations • BOOK OF SALARIES, according to the legal format • Labor certificates • In July, Generation, presentation and management of BONO 14 PAYROLL • In December, Generation, presentation and management of AGUINALDO PAYROLL We offer: • excellent salary $ 1,000.00 • Schedule from Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm • Normal benefits (Guatemala Law) • Parking space (100% paid by the company
