DESCRIPCION DE LA OFERTA
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversees as well as assists a team of Legal/Compliance representatives. This position ensures compliance with the Federal Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, United States Bankruptcy Code, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and state statutes and regulations regarding debt collection practices. Monitors collection specialists to ensure compliance with the laws. Responds to disputes submitted by debtors to credit reporting agencies as required by FCRA and FACTA. Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities to assist in the successful operation of the company, as may be required at the direction of your manager
Candidates need to have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
Position will report to on-site Operations Manager.

Personal Characteristics:
The Legal/Compliance Supervisor must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidates must have a proven record of coaching and developing employees. He/she must be competitive and have a high energy level and a passion for assisting other to achieve their goals. Supervisors must possess strong managerial skills and be able to be proactive in handling challenges in a professional manner. Supervisors must provide a positive environment conducive to representatives wanting to achieve and grow professionally. Supervisors need to motivate their agents to achieve high performance, overseeing the design and delivery of all training programs, reviewing work for quality assurance, recruiting and hiring new personnel.
Excellent listening and intercommunication skills are essential. High attention to detail is critical in this position.

Technical Skills:
The Legal/Compliance Supervisor must have a thorough knowledge of MS Office Applications. Ability to define problems, interpret data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret basic legal documents and contracts. Ability to understand a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables. The Supervisor will have a working knowledge of their client/clients and when appropriate and necessary communicates with client.


Performance Skills:
An assertive, competitive individual with the drive to excel in meeting company and client expectations. He/she must have the ability to lead an assertive work force to successfully work their portfolios to the companies and clients standards. He/she must be able to handle multiple tasks without compromising quality and quantity of work. Ability to read, analyze and interpret basic legal documents and technical specifications relating to receivables management items. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive customer inquiries or complaints. Ability to present clear/persuasive arguments. Candidates must have 1+ years experience working with Metrics/Scorecard/KPI environments.

• Experience managing a group of 5 or more
• Computer proficient (MS Office package)

• Experience managing employees (Manager, Supervisor, Team Lead)

• Availability to travel to USA for 2 months of training is a MUST!!
• Business Administration or Accounting studies or similar preferred
