Job Description: Supply Chain Finance Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Supply Chain Finance Analyst to join our finance team. This role will be crucial in driving financial performance and control across our supply chain operations, with a specific focus on fixed assets, logistics costs, and material losses. The analyst will also play a key role in the new product introduction process for our Oral Care and Toothbrush plants by providing accurate costing estimations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fixed Assets and Capital Management
Support the end-to-end financial management of fixed assets, ensuring compliance with accounting policies.
Analyze and report on capital expenditure (CapEx), tracking project spending against budget and ensuring timely capitalization.
2. Supply Chain Cost Control and Analysis
Monitor, analyze, and report on logistics costs, including freight, warehousing, and distribution expenses, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Manage the financial tracking and analysis of material losses,collaborating with operations teams to understand root causes and track the impact of reduction initiatives.
Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly variance analysis for supply chain-related accounts, explaining deviations from budget and forecast.
3. New Product Costing Support
Serve as the primary finance support for the new product development (NPD) process for the Oral Care and Toothbrush categories.
4. General Financial Support
Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for supply chain expenses.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within the cost accounting system.
Collaborate with plant controllers and operational managers to drive a cost-conscious culture.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Economics, Finance, or a closely related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Finance, preferably within a manufacturing or Supply Chain environment.
Language: Advanced English (written and verbal) is essential for communication with international teams and documentation.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Google & Microsoft Tools (Excel, Sheets, Slides, etc) and experience with SAP
