We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with experience in AWS technologies focusing mainly on designing and automating IT infrastructure platforms and infrastructure, who will become part of a diligent team of engineers that deliver infrastructure to host mission-critical applications in the cloud, provide support with well-known tools and solutions, and guarantee the highest level of availability and performance for in-house developed applications.
This position requires high technical skills in scripting and programming solutions. Some of the main tasks are:
-Develop custom scripts to increase efficiency in processes and systems, with the objective of reducing human intervention on any repetitive tasks
-Coordinate and migrate in-house applications to the AWS cloud
-Troubleshoot and identify solutions for Performance/Connectivity issues, Application functionality disruptions and Network Load Balancing, working together with developers and business stakeholders alike
-Maintain and promote Security, availability, and redundancy strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
-University studies in Computer Science, Engineering or related subjects
-Experience with Linux, AWS (EC2, VPC, EBS, S3), Containerization (Docker), Networking
-Experience working on Agile Development team
-Software development skills (Java, Node.JS, Python, Bash, etc.)
-High English Proficiency (spoken and written)
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
-Experience with Configuration Management tools (Chef, Ansible) and AWS Cloudformation
-Experience with Kubernetes
