Purpose:
Responsible for the negotiation of contracts that secure favorable terms in relation to the procurement of services and supplies contracts. These contracts may be in support of customer-related business processes (e.g., 3rd party suppliers for a bid) or for internal use (e.g., health care, fleet, etc.).
Scope:
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Requires in-depth knowledge and experience Decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan Generally domestic scope/accountability
Requirements:
-85%-90% english proficiency.
-4+ years of experience working in purchasing/procurement.
-Intermediate-Advanced excel knowledge.
-JD Edwards, Oracle, QuickBooks knowledge (desirable).
-Open schedule.
