The Audit Specialist will assist the Internal Audit Director and Audit Supervisor in providing independent and objective reviews and assessments of the business activities, operations, financial systems, and internal controls of Outsourcing Incorporated. The objective of these assessments and reviews is to provide management with an independent appraisal of the various operations of the company and related controls.
Job Duties:
• Executes assigned process audits from beginning to end which includes scheduling, performing walkthroughs/test work, and documenting results.
• Ability to quickly obtain understanding of processes and document those processes in a concise, yet thorough, and clear manner according to departmental standards.
• Develops audit testing procedures relevant to risks, controls, and test objectives
• Obtains and reviews audit evidence ensuring audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk and ensures audit conclusions and testing results are documented according to professional and departmental standards.
• Identifies exceptions, documents exceptions, and communicates exceptions to appropriate departments. Also provides remediation/process improvement recommendations to resolve any identified exceptions or control gaps.
• Ensures adherence, at all times, to all applicable department and professional standards.
• Assist the Audit Director and Audit Supervisor with special projects as needed.
