ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for understanding clinical practices and data. Taking the clinical data and mapping it in Juvo to the appropriate system terms to make sure that the system rules and reports run correctly. Needs to work closely with other teams across the organization to understand priorities, communication and provide ongoing status updates.

• Knowledge of current and evolving software development standards and processes.
• Taking clinical interface data and mapping it to the correct standard to let Juvo’s clinical algorithms and standards to work properly.
• Strong critical thinking, ability to determine the most effective ways to test the issue, recognize patterns, and understand relationships in clinical data.
• Teach clients to understand how to maintain clinical data and dictionaries in Juvo.
• Participate in functional code roll validation and testing from a clinical mapping and data perspective.
• Assist with validating client census and interface feeds.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare related degree with computer science background required. Clinical degree and five years of experience in a software-related position desired.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• 3+ years of healthcare experience.
• Understanding of lab, radiology, pharmacy, vitals, cardiac and other clinical data and relationships between those categories.
• Ability to interpret multiple ways that a client can send data and map to a single source (breaking down panels to separate tests included, finding data fields within structured notes, etc.)
• Understanding of functional practice, needs and workflow in the hospital, ambulatory and payer facilities/business.
• Strong communication skills both with internal and external customers.
• Experience with Scrum or Agile processes.
• Understanding basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures.
• Understand backlog tracking and task definition.
• Excellent time management while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work with both onshore and offshore resources as well as many time zones.
• Excellent excel skills.
