SUMMARY: Responsible for performing moderate to complex sales and service functions for targeted markets, programs and sales as assigned to ensure complete customer satisfaction and retention.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Handles national accounts which include complex customer inquiries and build long-term relationships with the customers. Identifies and assesses the customer needs to achieve customer satisfaction. Answers customer calls, responds to questions, corrects errors, develops leads, assists with pricing, recommends process improvements and delivers value added services. Assists, influences and sells customers with Crowley’s services offerings. Prepares and analyzes reports to better meet the customer needs. Handles complaints and offers appropriate solutions within guidelines to ensure resolution. Meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Assists on boarding customers using our new Crowley On Line Services products.
EDUCATION: College degree in related field or job-related training after high school.
EXPERIENCE: 1- 3 years’ experience working in a Customer interface within the logistics business and dealing with customer as primary job function.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Microsoft Office. Expertise in CRM systems is desirable.
COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work individually. Problem-solving skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners. Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and recommend alternatives. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Ability to provide good customer service.
OTHER: Intermediate- Advanced English level.
