Purpose

This position will serve as a Global Risk and Control function within the Company and have basic knowledge of the Transportation industry reporting directly to the Transportation Sector. This position will support the sector by serving as a conduit between the 2nd line of defense (corporate functions) and general managers (department heads) to coordinate the implementation of policies and standards, oversee and enforce policy and regulatory compliance, design, validate and oversee the effectiveness of internal controls, and drive the remediation of noted control deficiencies. This role will also serve as the central point of contact and liaison to the 3rd line of defense (Corporate Audit) and for client inquiries.

Recommend process, product or service improvements
Decisions are guided by functional strategies and priorities
May include international accountability; and may include some global scope/accountability
Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements
